After 2012 if any movie was powerfull enough to drag me to a theatre then it had to be Avatar. Alright it is after a long time I am writing a movie review. Not because I was absent from the usual movie watching business, but my exams have kept me a little busy this time. This reminds me, I guess this is probably the last post till 25th of this month [which am eagerly waiting, my exams end the same day]. Anyways getting back to the task at hand; movie review! For some time my friend was bugging me with the release date of 2012; not because it was highly anticipated but it was falling right before my exams; so I had to watch it. Almost all of us at some point in our life have been bitten by the GI Joe bug. For some it was the action figures, for others the cartoon or for someone like me it was the novel cum Game Books gifted by a cousin. Before that I had watched a few cartoons but didn’t found them very scintillating. I generally don’t like the movie which the critics approve of; and critics have approved Public Enemies. With a cast of Bale [he has become my favourite] and Depp, set in the great depression era, story of a bank robber; the expectations were ought to be high and most of them have been met. Red Cliff is a Chinese epic war movie; this is all I know about it. My knowledge of rocket science is much better when compared to Chinese movies or actors. Except for Jackie Chan, Jet Li and Bruce Lee, all look alike to me [no offence] so don’t expect any mind blowing, critic review about the story or the characters. Read more
Since I heard about ‘The Hangover’ I wanted to watch it; but as luck would have it I finally got a chance this Friday. Going by the kind of business the movie is doing [the theatre was full even in the third week in India and that too on Friday, with many other releases] am sure most of you must have seen it and if you are still waiting, then its high time now. When it was certain that Arnold will not be there in Terminator-4, I thought I’ll never gonna watch it. But the day news of Christian Bale in it came I knew I’ll give it a shot. It was a long wait before I finally got to see it; the option of downloading from the net was long available, but I don’t wanted to miss even a single shot to piracy and frankly speaking I don’t regret my decision.
