When it was certain that Arnold will not be there in Terminator-4, I thought I’ll never gonna watch it. But the day news of Christian Bale in it came I knew I’ll give it a shot. It was a long wait before I finally got to see it; the option of downloading from the net was long available, but I don’t wanted to miss even a single shot to piracy and frankly speaking I don’t regret my decision. Continue reading “Terminator Salvation”

Just thought you would like to know.
X-Men Origins Wolverine
One thing I keep on saying again and again about superhero sagas; I don’t like the whole concept of having supernatural-unexplainable powers. But then a friend said without superpowers you don’t have superheroes, it’s simply heroes. Batman doesn’t fall in the superhero category then, but Wolverine does. Continue reading “X-Men Origins Wolverine”
Angels and Demons!!!
I didn’t like ‘Da Vinci Code’ and the fact it was based upon church and Christianity mystery made it even more pathetic. Not because am a church activist, against portraying it in bad light; but mainly because of two reasons. Continue reading “Angels and Demons!!!”
3:10 to Yuma
Before I talk about it, a basic information 3:10 to Yuma is a western movie; for all those who don’t like this genre don’t bother about it. But if you are Russel Crowe or Christian Bale fan, then you may want to read further. Continue reading “3:10 to Yuma”
Gran Torino
This is said to be his last acting performance; if it’s true then it has to be special to be a farewell note for someone like Clint Eastwood and you bet it is. Continue reading “Gran Torino”
Star Trek
Alright every action movie I watch, more or less I like it; and when it is a science fiction-space odyssey with fast paced action with adventure then you can expect what my reaction will be on watching it. Yesterday finally I watched Star Trek and I enjoyed the screening. Continue reading “Star Trek”
Doomsday!!!
I don’t know when the current dispute between the producers and the multiplexes will end. And until it is on, you have no other option but to go and watch movies about which you are totally clueless. If you have avoided them in the first week then you have no other option in second but to go and watch them. After fighting a long lost battle I finally gave up and watched ‘Doomsday’ yesterday. Continue reading “Doomsday!!!”
My Sassy Girl
The original My Sassy Girl movie is a Korean flick, from where the English version is inspired; but am not sure if the Hindi version ‘Ugly aur Pugly’ is inspired from Korean or English. Am also not sure why they decided to release it now [originally it released in June 2008] in India. Continue reading “My Sassy Girl”
Outlander. . .
When I go to watch these Hollywood movies alongwith some friend [whom I always have to pursue till death to come] I pray to God it turns out to be a good one [so that I’ve readily available partner next time] but my prayers are seldom heard. And this week it is the second time they are rejected. If bedtime stories alone was not sufficient to satisfy never dying hunger of bad movies then this week’s ‘Outlander’ might just do the trick.
Bedtime Stories!!!
You don’t mess with the Zohan, was the last Adam Sandler movie I saw; the movie was fun but it lacked the feel good Sandler factor. Bedtime stories have that feel good Sandler factor, but it is not that much fun to watch.
In Bruges. . .
On a personal note neither I like Collin Farell nor his movies. But still I watched ‘In Bruges’ because it boasted of Brendan Keensan [Ken] and Ralph Fiennes [Harry] and I didn’t had anything else to do.
Day Earth Stood Still. . .
One after another they make remakes of classics, and in the never ending line the latest edition is ‘The day the earth stood still’ remake of a 1951 classic of same title. There is one problem with these remakes in general, they lack the current fiz. Some 50 years back the movie was wonderful, but why should we watch a 50 year old movie with new star cast and nothing else. It’s better to watch the classic, instead of the remake if it is not served with the present flavours.
Flashbacks of a Fool. . .
If I had to write this movie’s review based upon my personal liking, in one line it is ‘avoid by all means’. But then it is always not about action, comedy, romance or thriller. Sometimes you have to digest the heavy emotional stuff in the basement which usually doesn’t make much sense. Not because it is senseless, but we are too naïve to understand it. I guess something like this happened in this case with me.
Quantum Of Solace. . .
Daniel Craig’s second Bond outing, ‘Quantum of Solace’ was eagerly awaited, not only by Bond fans but anyone with slightest of interest in action flicks. With ‘Casino Royale’ Craig gave a new image of brute killing machine to British superspy, who was earlier known for his sophisticated, subtle ways. It was liked by the viewers and so the saga continues in this installment as well.
You Don’t Watch The Zohan!!!
When you come out of a theatre after watching Adam Sandler movie, you have good feelings about it. No matter what the movie is about, but it is always going very easy with you and you felt relaxed after watching it. Comedy is something what he does best and this is what he is doing in this action-hairdressing-sex-comedy.
