Sky Diving at Mauritius. . .

I personally feel Bharat is one of the best tourist destinations in the world. There are deserts, mountains, jungles, rivers, beaches; then there is heritage, culture and history. There is everything, it truly is Incredible India, but there is one thing missing, hospitality! Yeah yeah, we believe in ‘Atithi Devobhav’, but do we really? The worst thing while travelling in India is interacting and coming across, rude, uncooperative and of course cheating Indians. Continue reading “Sky Diving at Mauritius. . .”

Mauritius Trip- I

ъглови легла с ракла

For past two hours I am staring in blank, tried ‘n’ number of different ways to write it; but my mind completely deprived of any thought would not let me. It is already 3 at night in India, and my brain functioning hours have long been over [time at night during which my brain activity is at its peak, if you don’t know about it then read ‘The Odd Hour Affair’] and still there isn’t any sign of improvement. I guess this is what serene natural beauty dos to you. Continue reading “Mauritius Trip- I”

Let us set some priorities. . .

I couldn’t have been more wrong, as I was in my last two posts. First yes, the Common Wealth Games are finally taking place as scheduled and that too in Delhi. Frankly speaking this is a surprise, a shock perhaps; I was not at all expecting it to happen, but keeping in mind our great capability of pulling of things at the last moment and of course the ever envious ‘Jugad’ technology which we have, anything is possible. Second the Babri Verdict is out and again it’s a big surprise for me, although a pleasant one. Lot of discussion and deliberation is going on the verdict and so many people are saying so many things; but I am not talking about it right now, it is about the CWG. The Judgment Day!!!

As I write these words, the court and the nation are gearing up for one of the most anticipated verdict of modern Bharat. Sitting in Kenya and saying this is very easy for me, but I am sure most of people in Bharat knows and thinks, that it is no longer relevant what the judgment will be in the Ram Janam Bhoomi title suit. So many years have passed, so much have been said and done and people [read masses] have long lost the interest; 60 years is too much time to wait for any judgment. Continue reading “The Judgment Day!!!”

Rains, Games and Blames. . .

As I write this post, it is raining outside, and had it not been to these rains, I don’t think I would have ever written it. Its not that there is something exclusive to be written which I could have not improvised without the rains, but since the day I have started working I have completely become brain dead [guess this must explain the current inconsistency in writing, but will talk about that some other time]. Anyways, if you have followed the earlier posts, then you must be aware that I love rains, and as this year Delhi got more than plenty of its share, so I guess it is good enough reason to write another one, although not on or about rains, but with rains in it. Continue reading “Rains, Games and Blames. . .”

Happy Teacher’s Day. . .

I am almost 10 days late for this post; as my teachers in college always said, some are late but you are always latest, better late than never.

In everyone’s life teacher plays a very important role; am not just talking about the formal teachers we have had during our long course of studies but anyone and everyone who has at some point or other taught us something. So on this day of teacher’s day, let me thank all of them. Continue reading “Happy Teacher’s Day. . .”

Road Trip to Bhangad…

More often than not, the journey is more enjoyable then the happiness of reaching the destination. If you are a travel enthusiast then you know what I mean. Its not that final destination is boring, but there is something about the journey that makes it worth while. I don’t know if it’s the anticipated excitement of reaching the destination or the enthusiasm of going some place; but whatever it is, it makes the journey fun filled. Continue reading “Road Trip to Bhangad…”

Edge of Darkness . . .

After almost a decade, Mel Gibson returns to the big screen with Edge of Darkness. When someone of Gibson’s stature returns then surely you can’t miss it [like it was hard to miss Schumacher’s return to F-1]. But just like Schumacher’s dismissal performance, Edge of Darkness too is dull. That’s it, I said it in one line, and now you may read on if you are a big fan of the ‘Braveheart’ ‘Patriot’. Continue reading “Edge of Darkness . . .”

The A Team . . .

There is a golden rule I follow whenever I go to watch an action movie; I leave my brain back home and trust me the results are spectacular. I don’t crib this is impossible and this more impossible. I don’t suffer from brain damage due to all the blowing and shooting. And most importantly I don’t need any brain to figure out the story or the characters. Now if you can do this, then you should definitely go and watch ‘The A- Team’ and you will come out of the movie theatre a happy man. Continue reading “The A Team . . .”

Fishing for Compliments!!!

Everyone like compliments! I don’t remember coming across someone who do not like being complimented; there are people who do not like being complimented by someone in particular, whatever the reason may be [may be they sound more like comment and lesser compliment], but all in all everybody like receiving compliments. Continue reading “Fishing for Compliments!!!”

CLINT – The Legend. . .

In the summer of 2004 for the first time I saw a western movie [before that I had heard and seen their promos but never ventured in watching them]. It was after my 12th exams that I had so much free time to watch anything I can lay my hands on and it was by sheer chance I came across a DVD with three western movies, ‘A Fistful of Dollars’, ‘For a Few Dollars’ and ‘The Good The Bad and The Ugly’. Those were the first three movies of Clint Eastwood and those were the first three movies of Clint Eastwood which I watched, but they surely were not the last.
