The A Team . . .

There is a golden rule I follow whenever I go to watch an action movie; I leave my brain back home and trust me the results are spectacular. I don’t crib this is impossible and this more impossible. I don’t suffer from brain damage due to all the blowing and shooting. And most importantly I don’t need any brain to figure out the story or the characters. Now if you can do this, then you should definitely go and watch ‘The A- Team’ and you will come out of the movie theatre a happy man.

As you all must know the movie is an adaptation of 80’s popular action TV series of the same name, and like the TV series the movie is high on action and low on intelligence. The movie begins with Hannibal [Liam Neeson] doing some mission in Mexico along with his trusted side kick Faceman [Bradley Cooper]. On the way they happen to meet Murdock and Baracus [Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson] and together they form the A- Team. 8 years and 80 successful missions later they are in Iraq, wherever everyone is telling them to stay away from a mission to retrieve the stolen US currency printing plates, but they won’t listen. The next thing you know they are framed for killing the General and stealing the same plates. As guessed they run to find the real culprit and clear their names.

Apart from Neeson and Cooper there are host of other people about whom I don’t care except one, Jessica Biel. She is looking hot as ever as the strict army intelligence captain. The action is elaborate and fun to watch. The dialogues are witty and when someone like Liam Neeson is delivering them, they are like cult. All in all it is like one big action sequence beginning in Mexico and ending in Los Angeles harbour; visiting Iraq and Germany in between.

The best thing about the movie is that it doesn’t let you get bored and that I feel is the worst thing about it as well. For every time you become sane and are in your senses you feel what the hell, how is this possible. But then again always follow the golden rule and you will come out of the movie theatre a happy man.
